Every December, and as the year comes to a close, I like to reflect back on the work that I produced that year. It’s always a fun thing for me to do and see how I can improve, have improved, and what I can be proud of. Today I’d like to share with you my favorites and the most popular of 2013.

It is extremely difficult choosing and judging my own work because often times I only see the flaws, but I pushed myself to choose the 13 photos above. They are my favorites of 2013 for special reasons, be it memories they provoke, the work, time and effort it took to shoot, and also because they were special foods.

    I’m loving all of these “top recipes of the year” post from my favorite bloggers. It’s great to be able to go back through and see all of their greatest hits, especially if I didn’t discover the blog until later on in the year. The banana nutella bread and peppered cauliflower rice are calling my name!
