Your Best Recipe ~ YBR

Your Best Recipe, a monthly roundup of your best recipes hosted by Spicie Foodie. There are no limitations as to what you can submit, anything goes. No limits on your kitchen nor photography skill, everyone is invited to join. This is not a competition, it is just a showcase of great food being cooked all over the world.  And here is how you can participate :

Requirements to participate:
1. It has to be a recipe that you published the month of the roundup, and it has to be a recipe that you feel was your favorite one posted that month. It can be anything your heart desires. Your submitted recipe can be your own creation or one that you adapted from another foodie, just give them credit on your post.

2. You must choose and display any of the following badges to invite your visitors to the roundup being hosted here. The button/badge must stay on your blog, either on the sidebar or submitted post. Your submitted links and photos aren’t deleted a few days after or once you have stopped participating in the YBR. It is only fair that if there is a link back to you one should be sent back to the event. Please do not add the button/badge to your blog for a few days or weeks and then take it down. I do double check that participants has added a button/badge to their blog. Those that ignore the rules will be removed from the roundups.

The badge below, you can add a small thumb of your dish. If you need help or would like the PSD file just shoot me an email, or read the tutorial here YBR Badge Tutorial (how to insert your photo) . Some participants like to use this badge below on a new blog post inviting their readers to see the roundup. You can wait until I have posted the roundup to get the link for it.

This small button can be added to a post and/or your blog’s side bar.

-Adding Your Best Recipe: Submissions are uploaded by participants using the provided inLinkz form. I have created a temporary page where you will add your info each month. ( http://www.spiciefoodie.com/ybr-signup-temporary-page/ ) The page is temporary and will be erased each month, so do not link to it.

- Roundup publications: You will find the date each roundup will be posted on the signup post, newsletter and the temporary signup page. Typically it is the last day of the month but does change depending on how it falls into my posting schedule. On that said date I will post the permanent roundup page with all of your submissions. The temporary page you signed up at will be deleted so it’s important not to link to it.

- A very exciting price will be awarded to one lucky YBR participant. Every month I randomly choose one participant for a special feature. The winner will have a month of free advertisement on Spicie Foodie. This means the winner’s blog logo/banner will be showcased under the “Featured YBR Winner” section in the sidebar. The logo/banner will link to the winner’s blog as well as be repeatedly broadcasted to the thousands of Spicie Foodie social media followers and YBR newsletter subscribers. It is a great opportunity for the winner as they will be exposed to a new audience.
