Happy Monday everyone. Today I have July’s edition of A Taste From The Past. But before we get to that I want to let you know that submissions for July’s YBR can now be added to the Linky. In case you missed the announcement last month YBR has undergone some changes. Please refer to the YBR page for further details, below is a simplified explanation.
**Roundups/Adding Your Best Recipe: From now on instead of emailing me your information you will fill out the inLinkz form. I have created a temporary page where you will add your info each month. ( http://www.spiciefoodie.com/ybr-signup-temporary-page/ ) The page is temporary and will be erased each month, so do not link to it. The page will be kept hidden so that I can publish the roundup to the public on the roundup dates.
– To Add Your Recipe: Go to temporary page, http://www.spiciefoodie.com/ybr-signup-temporary-page/ and click on the “Add Your Link” button, under “URL” type your recipe’s URL or link, under “Name” please type in YOUR NAME, YOUR WEBSITE’S NAME, YOUR RECIPE’S NAME (Sample of what it should look like: Nancy, Spicie Foodie, My recipe’s name)
– Roundup will be posted on Monday July 30.
**Honest Cooking Features: The opportunity to participate in the draw for an Honest Cooking feature will continue. When you complete the inLinkz form you will be asked if you’d like to participate.
** Please don’t forget to add a YBR button or badge to your website.

mmmmmm spicy lentils and corn bread. I need to pack some road trip food soon, would that travel well?
Hi Holly,
I think they would, just make sure to pack it into a tight container and of course the corn bread separately. I hope you had a great trip to my neck of the woods:)
Great taste from the past! Definitely going to have to try those chorizo-stuffed peppers!
Thanks Peggy and enjoy the peppers.
