Photography is my passion. I love photographing food. But now and then it is refreshing to photograph something other than nourishment.
All of these flower photos were shot with an aperture of f/2.8. This f-stop is not one I often use for my food pictures. As for flowers this aperture is a fitting one. The shallow depth of field enhances the romantic mood commonly associated with flowers.
The rose photo below was shot using a small 45w light-bulb. I was sitting on the couch when I noticed how nice the lamp light was falling on the roses. I purposely left the yellow tone on the images because it resembled most what the rose looked like in real life.
The rest of flowers were all shot with natural light. The source was a window.
I hope you enjoyed this non-food snapshots.
Happy Sunday.
