Happy Sunday! It’s been a while since I shared a Sunday Snapshots posts, and so today it is what I am sharing with you. But before we get to the photos, don’t forget to enter the Blend: Artisanal Smoothies for Food Lovers giveaway. Remember it is open to both non-bloggers and bloggers, and we are giving away 2 sets of books to 2 lucky winners. The winner will be announced on Tuesday.
This Tuesday I will also be sharing the recipe in which these tiny speckled eggs were used. Quail eggs are so beautiful that they beg to be photographed, and they make great photographic subjects, wouldn’t you agree?
The feather’s are courtesy of our two Cockatiels, whom constantly leave extra feathers for me to photograph…or so I like to tell myself.
Have a great Sunday and I hope you come back on Tuesday for both the winners announcement and recipe. See you then!
All previous Sunday Snapshots can be seen here, and all food photography tutorials can be seen here.
So pretty! Great shots, as usual.
Cheers,
Rosa
Thank you Rosa:)
Lovely shots, Nancy! When I was a kid, I was very fascinated by quails eggs because they are so cute.
They are so cute and small, so it makes them fascinating to me too. Thanks Phong:)

I agree quail eggs are a vey special photographic subject but then you have surpassed yourself and made them look even more so . . .
Aww, thank you so much Eha!:)
Whenever I get a chance to buy quails here I will get them since they are much more nutritious then the non organic chicken eggs here and most importantly they have more flavor. Lovely snaps Nancy. The feather came with the eggs? =)
I hope you can buy some soon Helene, thank you so much! No, actually the feathers are the daily gifts of our cockatiels.:)
I am so mesmerized by these clicks…Loved each and every one!
Thank you so much Shema!:)
Gorgeous shots, Nancy…you have the best eye!!! Whenever we had a French Fridays assignment calling for hard boiled eggs, I’d check the markets for quail eggs…they’re so beautiful. But, alas, when I needed them, they weren’t in stock. Maybe I’ll get to use them one day….
Thank you so much Lizzy! I hope you can find them soon and would love to see what you do with them.:)
Awesome shots Nancy…so cute the comment about the feather :)
Have a great week ahead!
Thank you so much Juliana! Have a great week too.:)
Absolutely beautiful and totally inspirational!
Thank you MJ!:)
Nancy these eggs are so pretty and speckled. Great photos. I need to take the time while I’m vacationing to read your ebook on my iPad. I’ve had it for so long but haven’t made it through it yet. I want to take good photos. Do you think there’s a prayer I could take decent ones with a Canon Power Shot? I just haven’t purchased a DSLR yet.
Thank you so much, Vicki. Absolutely, I think we can even take great photos with a phone camera. Enjoy your holiday and the book.:)
