Stone fruits are those with a fleshy outer part that surrounds a pit or stone. Plums, pluots, cherries, peaches, apricots, apriums, and nectarines are all stone fruit. To me nothing says summer like stone fruits. They are sweet, juicy, bright and delicious just like a hot and sunny summer afternoon.
Hubby and I have been gorging on stone fruits the last couple of days and now I want to make sure that you too enjoy the season to it’s fullest. Stone fruits are delicious on their own but they’re also great to cook with. Here’s 47 stone fruit recipes for you to choose from. Enjoy!
