Every loves a fiesta (party) and Mexicans know how to throw a great one. Of course, there is always loads of food and variety of drinks. September 16th is Mexico’s day of independence and being that I’m Mexican, I wanted to invite you to the festivities. So pick a dish and make it for your family this weekend — even better would be to have a weekend long Mexican food party. Enjoy the recipes and I hope you have a fantastic weekend!

    You have covered so much here–including many of my favorites. We are already gearing up for Independence Day here in San Miguel (the whole month of September is cringe-making for my poor dogs because of the fireworks!).
