This time of the year everyone is looking for quick and easy recipes, today I have one for you.
One of my go-to busy days meal choices is pasta. I love how quickly the noodles can come together and that there is usually little cleaning up involved. As long as we have all of the ingredients on hand, the meal can be on the table in no time. This creamy pasta recipe takes just a little bit longer than 30 minutes, so it’s perfect.
Pasta cream sauces are a special treat in my house — you know all of those indulgent calories can be too much. When we are craving a cream based pasta this recipe is a classic. From the sauce I build on it to include whatever seasonal vegetables and protein I happen to have in the fridge. So though the version pictured here includes shrimp you could easy swap it out for chicken or turkey. Sometimes instead of the broccoli I’ll use cauliflower and it takes just as delicious.
I shared the recipe on my About.com column, so all you have to do is click below and go get it. Enjoy and have a beautiful week ahead!
Yup, quick and easy works for me. Just as long as it’s tasty! And this looks awfully good. Always have shrimp around — such a lifesaver, isn’t it? This looks wonderful — thanks.
